Easy Way to Transfrom Your Bathroom into A Spa in 5 Steps
We live in a busy, stressful world. Every day we may deal with angry bosses, traffic jams and last minute deadlines. What if there were a way to ease your stress by changing some area of your house? Believe it or not, there are ways to turn your home bath into a real spa.
Step 1: Choose the right colors. You want a calming atmosphere so when deciding a color scheme, you should take into consideration earth, monochromatic, and neutral color palettes. Don’t over stimulate your senses with bright reds or vivid yellows, or with a complex mix of tones. Think Simple and opt for muted tones, low contrast and for minimalist design of the bath hardware. Dim lights will transport you in that calm mood in no time.
Step 2: Sound is crucial for your relaxation. Install speakers in your bathroom or bring in your portable iPod. Select a type of music to carry you in that state of calmness you have dreamed of, whether it be chill-out music, nature sounds, lounge mixes, jazz or any other type of music you prefer.
Step 3: Stimulate your sense of smell. Scented candles that give a soft fragrance will work. Select vanilla, lavender, ginger, or lemon fragrances. You can also use natural oils for scent (i.e., if you are sensitive to fragrances of some type, substitute soy-based candles as they won’t cause any allergic reaction). Use the smell to trigger beautiful memories. So if ginger reminds you of the tea your mother used to prepare when you were little, add that fragrance.
Step 4: Let’s not forget about the skin. Hot water, fluffy towels, a warm floor and one of the most important devices in our spa bathroom, the massaging showerhead, will enhance your experience. ( Recommend : Waterpik, Ana Bath )

Step 5: Upgrade your bathtub. Bring in a portable water jet spa, connect it to the nearest source of power, jump in, let the water drain and find that perfect relaxation jet. ( Recommend : Lifesmart, M-Spa )
